The Sacrament of Baptism is often called “The Door of the Church,” because it is the first of the seven sacraments not only in time but in priority, since the reception of the other sacraments depends on it. Once baptized, a person becomes a member of the Church.

Infant Baptism

Infant Baptisms are celebrated on the 4th Saturday of the month at 11:00am. Parents/guardians of the child/infant must attend a baptism preparation class held on the 3rd Thursday of the month at 6:00pm-7:30pm prior to the scheduled baptism, unless parties have been notified in advance. Please check the bulletin, calendar of events, call or email us for baptismal preparation class updates.

godparents are also required to attend the baptismal preparation session. Please be informed that during the class, godparents will be asked to write a letter addressed (vision, dreams, hopes, wishes, etc) to the child to be handed sealed on the day of baptism here in the parish. We request that the letter be open only after the child's confirmation. If godparents live outside the parish boundary, they have the option to attend the preparation session at their own parish and provide written confirmation from the parish that they attended a preparation session.

Please take time to fill out the form here in order to further assist you.
